The Frenchman expresses disappointment after a surprise loss.
Arsenal began their Premier League campaign with a shock 3-1 defeat at home to last season’s strugglers Aston Villa.
The north London club got off to a good start with a goal from Olivier Giroud, but could not maintain the advantage and were eventually defeated by the Villans.
Although it was a good start for Giroud, it certainly wasn’t for the Gunners and the striker has expressed his disappointment at such a poor opener.

Arsene Wenger’s side have had a woeful summer, having failed to sign any of the club’s transfer targets to date and also suffering injuries to key players such as Mikel Arteta, Bacary Sagna and now Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Fans at the Emirates Stadium are becoming increasingly frustrated with how things are going for the side both on and off the pitch and many are speculating that Wenger has gone as far as the Frenchman can with the side.
It is now over eight years since Arsenal last won a trophy and with no new players and now a poor start to the new campaign, things are not looking good in north London.
