Gunners keen to sign Juventus’ Paul Pogba.
Arsenal are set to make a £20m bid for former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, according to Sports Direct News.
The 20-year-old France international shone in his debut season for Juventus, after arriving from Old Trafford last summer.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is under increasing pressure to add to his squad after a 3-1 defeat to Aston Villa on the opening day of the new Premier League season,
The North London outfit have so far added just Yaya Sanogo, a free transfer from Ligue 2 outfit Auxerre.
Wenger is understood to be an admirer of his compatriot Pogba, who scored in the Old Lady’s 4-0 Italian Super Cup win over Lazio on Sunday.
Although Sports Direct News is not the most reliable source, Sky Sports’ journalist Graeme Bailey confirmed that Arsenal had enquired abbot Pogba:
Whilst Geoffrey Kondogbia remains a firm option for Arsenal, we understand they have enquired about Juventus’ Paul Pogba.
