PSG striker has heart set on Emirates switch.
Arsenal are leading Liverpool in the chase to sign Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani this January, according to Fichajes.net.
The Gunners will have to pay around £48m to land the prolific Uruguayan, who is known to be considering his future at the Parc des Princes after struggling to settle in France.
Liverpool had hoped to be in contention to sign Cavani as well, though they may have to look elsewhere to replace the struggling Mario Balotelli.
Arsenal, meanwhile, are keen to sign Cavani as they eye big-name alternatives to Danny Welbeck and Olivier Giroud upfront, with Arsene Wenger known to be a fan of the PSG star.
