Gunners keen to bring Spain international to north London in Jan.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is considering making a loan move Barcelona midfield player Isaac Cuenca during the January transfer window, according to reports in the Daily Express.
There are still tickets available to QPR v Arsenal at Loftus Road on May 4th.
The North Londoners are currently suffering an injury crisis in midfield, with the likes of Spaniard Mikel Arteta, France international Abou Diaby and winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain all currently on the sidelines with various knocks of differing degrees of severity and Wenger s known to be keen to add reinforcements to the Gunners midfield this month.
Wenger has reportedly cast his eye over West Ham United’s powerful defensive midfield player Mohamed Diame, but will instead change his focus to the Liga leaders’ Spain international Cuenca.
The player has just returned to full fitness having suffered a serious knee injury earlier in the season that has meant he has still to play a single match for the Camp Nou side this campaign.
However, that actually plays into the Gunners’ hands as the Catalans’ head coach Tito Vilanova is said to be keen to allow the gifted young player valuable playing time between now and the summer at another club in order for Cuenca to get back in the swing of things after so long out of action.
