Gunners line-up deal for France international. Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is readying a £10m bid for Toulouse midfielder Etienne Capoue – dubbed the ‘next Marouane Fellaini’ – reports the Daily Star.
The Frenchman is reportedly keen to sign a physically imposing enforcer who can add some steel to the Gunners stylish but flimsy midfield and believes Capoue, who has been compared to Everton’s Belgian star Fellaini, can be the perfect addition.
The 24-year-old has arguably outgrown the Ligue 1 club and it is understood the France international would jump at the chance of joining his Les Bleus colleagues Laureny Koscielny, Bacary Sagna, Abou Diaby and Olivier Giroud at the North London club.
The one-club-man has been at the Stade Municipal side since 2005 and has made over 150 appearances and been in a rich vein of form that led to a first senior national team cap last year.
Given his tag, it is unsurprising that the player has also been linked with a move to Goodison Park, should the real Fellaini depart in the summer.
