Arsenal will appoint Andries Jonker as academy boss…
Arsenal are set to appoint Andries Jonker, former coach at both Barcelona and Bayern Munich, as the club’s academy boss. the Mirror reports.
The 51-year-old coach is currently the assistant boss at Wolfsburg, but is set to succeed Liam Brady in the youth coaching role at the Emirates.
Brady is leaving at the end of the season, and Jonker is expected to take over in the summer. He has worked with both Barcelona and Bayern Munich, and appreciates the same footballing philosophy as Gunners boss Arsener Wenger, so seems like a perfect choice to join the Emirates club.
