Parlour believes Bale’s switch to the Bernabeu could benefit the Gunners.
Tottenham Hotspur are never keen on helping out rivals Arsenal, but selling Gareth Bale to Real Madrid could do just that.
The Welshman’s arrival at the Santiago Bernabeu could signal the end of several top players’ time in the Spanish capital and the Gunners are keeping their eye on a trio of Los Blancos stars.
Karim Benzema, Angel Di Maria and Mesut Ozil are all first team players that have been linked with switches to the Emirates Stadium and club legend Ray Parlour is a fan of all three coming to north London.
“Mesut Ozil would be the player for me, I love the way he plays,” Parlour told talkSPORT.
“Then there’s Karim Benzema. He would be a great signing because they need a striker like that.
“Arsenal miss that ‘Ian Wright’ type player and Benzema would do that. He’s not had loads of chances at Madrid but when he’s played, he’s scored goals.”
Any of the three would be a superb addition to the squad at Arsene Wenger’s disposal, with all of them having impressed with Los Merengues.
Ozil and Di Maria both joined in the summer of 2010 and the German in particular has been instrumental in Madrid’s success.
The 24-year-old’s record with the club sees the attacking midfielder having provided an impressive 81 assists in 159 matches in all competitions.
Similarly, the Argentine winger has been prolific as a foil for Cristiano Ronaldo on the right flank and has also notched up 61 assists in 139 games.
As for Benzema, in four years at the Bernabeu the striker has netted 90 times in 185 matches and the Frenchman’s solid strike rate is often forgotten due to Ronaldo’s proficiency.
