Gunners interested in Villains stopper Brad Guzan.
Arsenal are tracking Aston Villa goalkeeper Brad Guzan, ‘multiple sources’ have told MLSsoccer.com.
It is understood the Premier League leaders have sent scouts to watch the US international on at least two occasions after he caught the eye in Villa’s 3-1 opening day win over the Gunners.
The North London outfit were linked with a several goalkeepers over the summer, including QPR’s Julio Cesar and Asmir Begovic of Stoke, and snapped up Emiliano Viviano on transfer deadline day on a season-long loan deal.
But the Italian is yet to make an appearance for the club, with Wojciech Szczesny retaining the number one jersey, and it appears boss Arsene Wenger is still keen to add some serious competition for the Polish international in January or next summer.
