Gunners eyeing Costa and Koke.
Arsenal have been scouting Atletico Madrid pair Diego Costa and Koke, respected journalist Graham Hunter has told Sky Sports.
Various British newspapers have already reported the Gunners’ interest in Costa, 25, who has scored 23 goals in just 19 starts this season.
But Hunter, who is considered an authority on Spanish football, said the club were also tracking Koke.
The 21-year-old Spanish midfielder has been a revelation this season, bagging eight assists and three goals in 17 league appearances and has already earned seven caps for the national team.
Koke, who can play across the midfield, has been linked with Manchester United and Chelsea.
Atletico would be loathe to lose either or both of their star players in January, particularly as they continue to keep the pace with Barcelona in the La Liga title race.
But the Gunners have money to spend in January and are in need of added firepower to alleviate the pressure on top scorer Olivier Giroud.
