Winger could move to Stadio Olimpico.
LAZIO are keen to take Andrey Arshavin off Arsenal.
The midfielder, 31, has talked to boss Arsene Wenger who is willing to let him go this month for around £4million.
Russian international Arshavin is a free agent in the summer.

Reports linking Andrei Arshavin with a move to Italian giants Lazio first emerged in the British tabloid media this time last year, so either The Sun are rehashing a very old story or there is some truth to Lazio’s reported interest.
Arshavin has never hit the dizzying heights expected of him since his £16m move to North London from Zenit St Petersburg, following a fine Euro 2010 with Russia.
The tricky midfielder was linked with Barcelona before making the move to the Emirates but barring a stunning four-goal performance at Anfield and a good showing against Barcelona in the Champions League, the Gunners faithful will cherish few memories of the now 31-year-old, who has looked utterly disinterested during the past 18 months.
Arshavin, to his credit, was always willing to try something – a clever pass or a trick – but he was also guilty of laziness, wastefulness and hopeless positioning.
Reading, who are owned by Arshavin’s compatriot, Anton Zingarevich, have been credited with an interest in the winger and he would certainly add some creativity the struggling Berkshire outfit.
But the Royals are in a bitter fight against relegation and is doubtful that the playmaker would consider a permanent move to the Madjeski Stadium.
If Arsenal want his hefty pay-packet off the wage-bill, they would be wise to accept Lazio’s offer and, in the slower paced Serie A, Arshavin may find some form again.
