Ramos has become synonymous with Real Madrid since he signed from domestic rivals Sevilla whilst still a young defender and is rightly rated as one of the best defenders of his generation – but the Spanish international has a difficult relationship with club president Florentino Perez and this has led to his representatives putting the feelers out about of a move to either Arsenal, Manchester United or Manchester City.
Any deal would still cost in excess of £40 million, however, whilst the idea of Ramos leaving the Bernabeu so soon after helping them to clinch La Decima with a last gasp equaliser in last season’s Champions League final still seems strange.
