London rivals both want to sign Paraguayan forward Antonio Sanabria.
Arsenal and Chelsea are set to battle it out for Barcelona wonderkid Antonio Sanabria, according to well-respected Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.
The 17-year-old is currently playing for Barcelona B and was previously linked with Udinese. But the Serie A outfit have recently ended their interest, leaving the London duo to go head-to-head for the highly-rated forward.
The Gunners have a history of luring youngsters from the Nou Camp, having signed former captain Cesc Fabregas as a 16-year-old before selling the midfielder back to Barca for £30m in 2011, and the North London outfit were first linked with Sanabria in June.
Udinese’s interest prompted Barcelona to open contract talks in with Sanabria, known as Tonny, but the La Liga giants are yet to agree a deal with the youngster.
