Arsenal have already made waves in the 2017 summer transfer window by breaking their club record to land Alexandre Lacazette in a deal worth £52m, as reported by The Telegraph.
There is plenty of time left until Deadline Day, however, and many are expecting another splash or two from the Gunners before the start of September.
One player who has been linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium is Manchester United striker Anthony Martial, but that looks a bit of a longshot right now, with 888sport offering odds of 5-1 on the 21-year-old swapping Old Trafford for the red side of North London.
A more realistic signing appears to be AS Monaco midfielder Thomas Lemar.
Tricky Lemar, 21, could cost as much as £80m, according to The Sun, but 888sport still make him odds on – at 4/9 – to be an Arsenal player when the transfer window closes.
Perhaps Arsenal’s biggest challenge this summer is to keep hold of their existing talent. Chile icon Alexis Sanchez has been widely linked with a move away.
However, 888 suggest he is more likely to stay than go, pricing him at 3/4 to be a Gunners player on September 3, while Manchester City, PSG and Bayern Munich’s odds of poaching him before then are 6/4, 4/1 and 10/1 respectively.
