Kyle Hardingham is the latest Essendon player to request a move away from the club, saying the supplements saga had “worn him down”.
The defender’s management, SMA Sports Agents, released a statement saying the 26-year-old had informed the Bombers of his desire to leave.
“Kyle Hardingham is seeking to be traded,” the statement read.
“He is keen to explore greater opportunities and has advised James Hird and the club’s management of this. Kyle is looking for stability.
“The issues surrounding the club at the moment have worn him down.”
Hardingham played just eight senior games in 2014 and is believed to be one of 34 players to have been shown show-cause notices by ASADA.
He joins Paddy Ryder and Jason Winderlich on the outer at the Bombers, after all asking to leave the club due to the ongoing supplements saga.
