Fremantle lock in Lee Spurr, Alex Silvagni and Jack Hannath until the end of the 2016 AFL season.
Fremantle has shored up the futures of Lee Spurr, Alex Silvagni and Jack Hannath with the trio all extending their contracts with the club.
Spurr was contracted until the end of 2015, but has extended his stay at the club until the end of the 2016 season.
Both Silvagni and Hannath were out of contract at season’s end, but have now signed on with the club until the end of 2016 after both signed two-year extensions.
Fremantle manager of player management Brad Lloyd said the club was pleased to have all three players locked in for the next couple of seasons.
“Lee has been a great contributor and leader over the past few years since coming off the rookie list. His professionalism and work ethic have ensured he has performed at a high level for the club throughout his time here,” he told the club’s website.
“Alex is a genuine competitor who has had a strong focus on getting the best out of himself since coming to the club via the rookie draft. He is an important member of our playing list.
“Jack developed well in the SANFL post his 18th year and was rewarded with selection in the Pre-Season Draft. He has made a solid contribution in AFL games since his arrival and we look forward to his continued development as a ruckman for the club.”
