Tevez’s agent wants the deal closed before the month is out.
The agent of Carlos Tevez Kia Joorabchian has given AC Milan until June 30 to secure a deal for his client from Manchester City, according to La Repubblica.
Tevez has been linked with a €10m move to Serie A for some time with both Milan and Juventus seemingly interested in securing the Argentinian’s services, but Joorabchian is keen for a move to be completed as soon as possible.
The agent believes that by giving this ultimatum it will force La Rossoneri to show how serious they are about a deal and make vice-president Adriano Galliani fly to Manchester to negotiate the transfer.
This deadline could prove to be problematic for Milan however as the club wants to sell former-City forward Robinho before they sanction the purchase of any new faces.
Yet a move for the Brazilian back to Santos in his native country is proving to be difficult as the club are unwilling to meet the fee set by the Italian’s for the 29-year-old.
Galliani will therefore have to resolve this stand-off sooner rather than later if Tevez’s representatives are true to their word, as Milan now have less than a week to get Robinho off their books.
If a move to the San Siro does fall through then the Argentina international will still be confident of a switch to Juve, as the Serie A champions have also shown interest in the attacker.
Despite having already signed Fernando Llorente from Atheltic Bilbao, La Bianconeri are still keen to strengthen up-front and with fellow Argentine target Gonazlo Higuain likely to move to Arsenal, Tevez could be the ideal candidate.
