Speculation continues over where Manziel will be drafted…
The NFL Draft 2014 kicks off on Thursday at 8pm ET from the Radio City Music Hall in New York, and here is our look at the possible order in which the 32 teams will select.
Consideration must also be given to the fact that some teams will trade up or down before the draft process gets underway, and therefore the picks below could be subject to change.
Nevertheless, it is of course a complete guessing game as with such a deep quarterback class in particular, much will depend on team preference and that will undoubtedly effect the rest of the board as we move through.
1. Houston Texans
Jadeveon Clowney, defensive end, South Carolina.
Clowney is widely considered the stand-out athlete in this draft class and pairing him up with JJ Watt could be a stroke of genius. However, the Texans do need to address the quarterback position, and although coach Bill O’Brien has hinted that it isn’t a priority, ultimately Houston could ruin a lot of mock draft boards if they go with a signal-caller first up.
2. St. Louis Rams
Greg Robinson, offensive tackle, Auburn.

Sammy Watkins, wide receiver, Clemson.

Blake Bortles, quarterback, UCF.
