New acts announced for Capital FM Summertime Ball

Johnny Vaughan and Lisa Snowdon have announced six new acts set to perform at Capital FM Summertime Ball on Sunday June 7 at the Emirates Stadium, London.

The most surprising act to be announced so far is the boy band, Blue, who have decided to reform especially for the Capital FM Summertime Ball.

Leona Lewis will perform what could be her only live show of the year in the UK,as fans wait for more news onthe release of her hotly anticipated second album.

Calvin Harris, fresh from his recent number one single, I'm Not Alone, is another act confirmed to perform at Capital FM Summertime Ball.

Calvin Harris is touring the UK in May and Calvin Harris tickets are still available from £11.

Calvin Harris will also be performing at two festivals this August; Relentless Boardmasters in Watergate Bay, Newquay and Creamfields in Daresbury Estate, Liverpool.

Tickets to Relentless Boardmasters are available from £89 and tickets to Creamfields are available from £53.50.

The Saturdays have agreed to another appearance for a Capital FM event after the success of the Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball last December.

The Saturdays star in their first headline tour from June. Tickets to see The Saturdays are available from £20.

Calvin Harris and The Saturdays are also lined up to perform at T4 On The Beach on Sunday July 19 at Weston Super Mare. Tickets for T4 On The Beach are available from £35.

Capital FM Summertime Ball is guaranteed to feature international artists as well. So far, American stars Akon and Kelly Clarkson have been lined up to perform on Sunday June 7.
