Mystery Jets' bassist Kai Fish is to release a solo album in September.
Fish's debut solo album will be called Life In Monochrome and is to be released on September 26th. The album is said to have been inspired by artists including Ray Davies and Damon Albarn. Fish reveals the record is the result of a "period of transition" in his life - coming out of a six-year relationship and beginning a new one. The new album will have eleven tracks, and is released through Music For Wolves.
Mystery Jets are still playing UK dates, and will perform at Bingley Music Live in September, alongside artists including Athelete, Chase & Status, Feeder, Maximo Park, Eliza Doolittle, Fun Lovin' Criminals and The Sunshine Underground.
Mystery Jets tickets will be available soon.
