My Chemical Romance take inspiration from Queen

My Chemical Romance lead singer Gerard Way has spoken of how he has taken inspiration from the late Freddie Mercury, in regards to his band's upcoming Reading and Leeds headline slot. My Chemical Romance were bottled off stage when last appearing at the event in 2006.
Speaking to NME, Way said, "I said to the guys, 'I never want to play this again until we headline', kind of what Freddie Mercury once said when Queen were booed off stage at this festival [they were booed off stage at a show in Australia, at the Sunbury Festival in 1974]."
Reading Festival tickets are now on sale, with weekend ticket prices starting at around £190 each.
