Mumford and Sons to release second album in 2011

British band Mumford and Sons have stated that they are looking to release their second album this year, following the success of their debut record. 2009's Sigh No More has sold more than one million copies in both the UK and US, as well as earning them the Best British Album award at the Brits.

The band have reportedly asked the album's producer Markus Dravs to help work on their next effort.

Mumford and Sons tickets are on sale now for the band's upcoming Ireland tour dates, as well as their performance alongside Arcade Fire at Hyde Park in June.
