Eoin Morgan plays down World Cup pressure

Eoin Morgan has stated he will focus on scoring runs rather than worrying about the pressure of replacing Kevin Pieterson in England's Cricket World Cup team.

Morgan, 24, missed out on selection after breaking a finger playing in Australia. He was replaced by Ravi Bopara, but with Pieterson now out of the tournament with a hernia problem, Morgan will get his chance after all.

The left hander is a similar player to Pieterson, and England will hope his talent at finishing games off will boost their chances of winning the title.
