Mohamed Al-Fayed committed to Fulham despite losses

Fulham chairman Mohamed Al-Fayed will remain committed to the Premier League side even though losses added up to £16.9m for the last financial year.

HodgsonFormer boss Roy led the Cottagers to the Europa League final last term which helped bring in additional money. But overall losses still went up by £10m due to wages and contracts.

As is evident, I remain committed to making investment funds available to achieve our goals both on and off the pitch, Al-Fayed said in a statement.

Flamboyant Egyptian Al-Fayed, the former owner of Harrods, has been in charge of Fulham since 1997, with the Cottagers having sustained their top-flight status now for 10 consecutive seasons.

Fulham Tickets are available now.
