Little Britain's Matt Lucas and opera star Alfie Boe have confirmed they will appear in the London production of Les Misrables. They will be joining the cast, along with West End regular Hadley Fraser, on June 23rd.
Lucas and Boe will reprise the roles they played at the musical's 25th anniversary concert at London's O2 last year. Lucas played dastardly innkeeper Thnardier and Boe was man on the run Jean Valjean. Fraser will play Valjeans nemesis Javert.
Lucas, better known for screen work including Come Fly With Me, Shooting Stars and Alice in Wonderland, as well as Little Britain, will appear until September 10th. Boe will perform with the cast until November 26th.
The musical already includes stars such as Gareth Gates, Lucie Jones and Samantha Barks and became the West Ends longest running musical in 2006, celebrating 10,000 performances in 2010.
Les Misrables tickets are available now.
