Matt Bellamy and Kate Hudson confirm engagement

Matt Bellamy and Kate Hudson have confirmed their engagement. The Muse front-man and actress Hudson confirmed the news during an appearance on the Today Show. The two began dating last year and are also expecting their first baby together.

Host Matt Lauer spotted the ring on her engagement finger, and asked of the couple's plans.

After confirming the news, Kate added: "I haven't really announced it, I was waiting for someone to notice."

Muse tickets are on sale now for the band's performance at Reading and Leeds Festival this year, where they have been confirmed to perform their classic album, Origin of Symmetry, in full.
