Martin Skrtel praises 'winner' Kenny Dalglish

Liverpool's Martin Skrtel believes Kenny Dalglish's winning mentality has rubbed off on his team and helped turn around their season.

Since taking over from Roy Hodgson, Dalglish has steered his side to 20 points from 10 games, losing only twice. Liverpool fans now have something to be excited about, as a fifth place finish would guarantee European football next year

Skrtel told LFC Weekly: "He knows how to take the pressure away and protect the squad. A lot has changed at the club recently, but the most important thing has been confidence. Kenny has given us that."

He added: "With confidence in football you can achieve great things. Everybody is happy now, looking forward to every single training session, every match."
