Liverpool worried by Steven Gerrard injury

Liverpool are increasingly concerned that Steven Gerrard's groin injury may require surgery, which would rule him out for most of their remaining fixtures this season.
According to The Mirror, the Liverpool Captain felt pain during last weekend's victory over Manchester United, his first game back after three weeks out, and may miss England's European Championship match against Wales.
Gerrard's absence from tonight's Europa League tie against Braga was announced on the Liverpool website, but the club did not give a reason for his omission.
Meanwhile, striker Andy Carroll is set to feature after making his debut at the weekend.
Liverpool tickets for many of their remaining fixtures are available now.
