Liverpool braced for visit of Arsenal

The Barclays Premier League match of the weekend is undoubtedly at Anfield on Sunday when Liverpool take on Arsenal.
Memories of last season's epic 4-4 draw - that featured a four-goal salvo from Andrei Arshavin and put an irreparable dent in the Merseysider's title aspirations - are still fresh and neutrals up and down the land will be hoping for a repeat.
As far as defences are concerned, goals could be easy to come by. Arsenal are missing the likes of Gael Clichy, Kieran Gibbs and Johan Djourou while Liverpool's usually miserly defence have already conceded 20 Premier League goals - more than anyone in the top nine other than Tottenham.
Both teams have come under pressure in recent weeks with Rafael Benitez seeing his side get knocked out of the Champions League while Arsene Wenger's Arsenal has endured a loss against Sunderland, a steamrollering by Chelsea and elimination from the Carling Cup at the hands on Manchester City. A home win against Stoke and a spirited youthful performance in Europe has boosted morale in north London but it might just be papering over the cracks.
The Gunners will fancy their chances against nervous opponents but victories against Everton and Manchester United this season suggest that big games are not the problem for Liverpool.
Still an away win is certainly posible but Eduardo - if fit - will have to track down his shooting boots.
