KT Tunstall quashes pregnancy rumours

KT Tunstall has ended rumours of a possible pregnancy after fans read between the lines on one of the singers tweets that she sent before embarking on her US tour.

The Black Horse and the Cherry Tree singer was leaving the UK when she set the rumour mill in motion with a teaser tweet to her loyal online following.

She said: On my way to the airport. Solo. Embarking on US solo tour. Hope Han Solo is the pilot. But before I leave...I have some stupidly exciting news for you. Can you guess?

The St. Andrews star, who married drummer Luke Bullen in 2008, has since admitted she is looking forward to a family so when Twitter fans heard of the stupidly exciting news, speculation over the possible new addition to the Tunstall household began.

One Twitter fans said: Im not going to guess...Im here waiting patiently, this smells like pregnancy.

However, it turns out the only thing KT and hubby Luke have made is a sound baby as the singer announced that the couple have been working together on her latest release an EP called The Scarlet Tulip.

Responding to her curious Twitter fans, she said: Ha! No, not up the duff.

I've been working hard in honour of your ears. I made you a sound baby.The Scarlet Tulip EP was lovingly recorded in our solar-powered studio in the woods by his royal hotness Luke Bullen boy done good!

A digital version of the album which includes seven new songs, was released on April 11 and a CD and vinyl version will follow on May 1.
