Korn announce Download warm up

American nu-metal band Korn have announced a warm up gig before their appearance at this year's Downlownload Festival at Donington Park.

The band will play the O2 Academy Glasgow on 8th June, two days before the festival starts. Tickets will go on sale this Friday.

Korn are still trying to replace Brian 'Head' Welch on guitar. Former (hed) PE guitarist Wes Geer, who has been Korn's touring guitarist, has not officially joined the band. Since he left Korn in 2005 Welch has become a devout Christian. He has written two autobiographies and is working on his second solo album.
