Banned defender Kolo Toure hopes to 'be back soon'

Manchester City defender Kolo Toure has said he hopes to make a quick return after being suspended for a positive drug test earlier this month.

The 30-year-old defender made an unexpected appearance at the Soccerex business forum in Manchester and toured a number of exhibitors stands, pursued by a posse of TV crews, cameramen and reporters.

Asked if he knew when he would hear the results of the B sample, Toure replied: "no comment" - but when asked if he had a message for City fans he said: "I will be back soon -- I hope so."
