Kings of the Chart Deny Young Victory

Despite all his best efforts, Pop Idol Winner, Will Young has not managed to shift The Kings of Leon from the pole position in this weeks UK album chart. Youngs fourth album, Let It Go, which was released on 29th September narrowly missed out on first place. The talent show star hits the road in November on his 2008 UK tour. The 21 night trek of intimate venues begins in Newcastle on the 16th November and finishes at Londons Roundhouse on the 13th December. More than a thousand tickets are still available online with some still available at face value.

The second highest new entry in the UK album chart was James Morrison whose latest offering, Songs For You, Truths For Me, secured the number three slot. Morrisons forthcoming tour also commences on the 16th November. The 7 night stint begins in Norwich and ends at the Shepherds Bush Empire on the 25th November.
