Bobby Moore outside Wembley, Matt Busby at Old Trafford and Bill Shankly beside Anfield are set to be joined on the list of football grounds with statues by the King of Pop, Michael Jackson.
Fulham chairman Mohamed Al Fayed originally planned on placing the statue outside Harrods, but following the sale of the Knightsbridge store in May, Al Fayed moved the location to Craven Cottage.
"I hope many fans of his will visit the statue from far and wide and I hope that Fulham fans will appreciate seeing the finest performer in the world amongst them, the finest fans in the world", Al Fayed told the club's official website.
The statue depicts the King of Pop in one of his familiar poses and will be unveiled on Sunday April the 3rd before Fulham's home game against Blackpool. Jackson visited Craven Cottage in 1999 whilst Fulham were in League Two.
