Kelly Jones backs Rage Against the Machine chart bid

Kelly Jones has been the latest artist to speak out about the Rage Against the Machine vs X Factor chart battle. The Stereophonics frontman said he understood X Factor and its mass appeal, but did not consider it music in the same way that he does the Rage Against Machine.

This year's X Factor winner. Joe McElderry, will go head-to-head with Rage Against the Machine for the UK Christmas number one title.

Kelly Jones and his Stereophonics band mates are set to hit the road next March. The Stereophonics tour kicks off at on Newcastle Metro Radio Arena on March 1. The Welsh rockers also call UK venues including the Glasgow SECC, MEN Arena the O2 Arena in London. The Stereophonics tour climaxes at Wembley Arena on March 11. Stereophonics tickets are available for all of the 2010 tour dates.
