Kasabian receive unlikely support from Fernando Torres; new live dates

T In The Park headliners Kasabian have received support from the unlikeliest of fans: Spain and Liverpool striker Fernando Torres. He has told the Sun that the Leicestershire band are the best British band since the Beatles, and that the Spanish national team listen to their rifftastic single Club Foot before every international match to get them fired up! Barcelona and Argentina star Lionel Messi has revealed himself to be a fan of the defunct Britpop band Oasis.

As well as their performances at both T In The Park, Oxegen Festival and V Festival this summer, Kasabian tickets will go on sale on Friday 9th July 2010 for two special performances at Belfast Belsonic on August 17th 2010 and the O2 Academy Brixton in London on August 19th 2010.
