Jens Lehman set to rejoin Arsenal

Arsenal are set to sign Jens Lehman for the rest of the season.

The 41-year-old goalkeeper has been a free agent since retiring in 2010 after two years with Stuttgart.

Injuries to Wojciech Szczesny, Lukasz Fabianski and Vito Mannone have forced manager Arsene Wenger's hand as Manuel Almunia is his only fit keeper.

If the deal is done in time, Lehmann is likely to be included in the squad for Saturday's trip to West Brom.

The controversial German was part of Arsenal's 'Invincibles' team, when he played a key role. Arsenal will hope his winning attitude will help them in the Premier League title race.
