Jason Manford offered new TV show on ITV

Comedian and former presenter of BBC's early evening "One Show" has been offered a new TV series by ITV. The new show, which has already had a successful pilot filmed, is called "Comedy Rocks" and fuses stand up comedy and live music on a Friday night. The show is not aimed at family entertainment like the "One Show", but rather more controversial comedy like 8 out of 10 Cats on Channel 4, which earned Manford his first big exposure to television.
