Jarno Trulli slams Pirelli tyres

Jarno Trulli has criticised Pirelli following the Australian Grand Prix, suggesting that the characteristics of the new rubber changed after the final tests.

Pirelli's tyres had been predicted to wear out severely, with some saying four pit stops may be needed. However, this was not the case. Sauber driver Sergio Perez even made it through with just one stop.

"The most important thing to be said is that every result this weekend, whether positive or negative, has a common cause: the Pirelli tyres," Trulli wrote in a column for Repubblica.
