iTunes Festival confirm six acts so far for July gigs

The iTunes Festival, celebrating its 3rd anniversary, will take place at the London Roundhouse in July and six acts have already been confirmed.


The six acts are Flo Rida (July 4), Snow Patrol (July 5), Paolo Nutini (July 10), Oasis (July 21), Kasabian (July 22) and The Saturdays (July 27). More acts are expected to be announced soon.


The six acts have got a busy summer period ahead of them as they are all set to perform at other summer festivals and gigs.


Flo Rida will perform songs from album R.O.O.T.S at the O2 Wireless Festival at London Hyde Park (July 4-5) and the Flo Rida tour also kicks off soon after with shows at the O2 Shepherds Bush Empire (July 12), Manchester Apollo (July 14) and the Glasgow O2 Academy (July 15).


Snow Patrol will be at T In The Park festival at the Kinross Balado Airfield (July 10-12) and the V Festival at Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Shifnal(August 22-23).


Paolo Nutini, whose new album Sunny Side Up is out on June 1, will also be performing at T In The Park festival and V Festival, but will first be at the Isle of Wight Festival at the Newport Seaclose Park (June 12-14).


Kasabian, whose new albumWest Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum is out on June 8,will be the support act for the upcoming Oasis tour which kicks off with three dates at the Manchester Heaton Park (June 4, 6 & 7) and ends with three dates at the London Wembley Stadium (July 9, 11 & 12).


The Saturdays tour, featuring songs from debut album Chasing Lights, features concerts across the UK throughout June and early July, including a show at London HMV Apollo (June 24).


The Saturdays will also be at the Capital FM Summertime Ball at the London Emirates Stadium (June 7) and T4 On The Beach at the Weston Super Mare Beach (July 19).
