Italy close to gaining top 10 ranking

Italy's historic win over France on Saturday has pushed them ever closer to the top 10 of world rugby.

Currently 12th in the rankings, Italy's win improved their rating by 1.77. This brings them to within a tenth of Samoa and just 0.12 behind Fiji, who lay in 10th

After Italy's first win against Les Bleus in the Six Nations, Italy now have reason to be confident for their visit to Murrayfield to take on Scotland at the weekend, where they will hope to finally push into the top 10.
