Interpol have long been a cult band, and their three albums so far have each been warmly received by both the press and - more importantly - their fans. The New York group have recently revealed details of their forthcoming fourth studio LP - which incidentally is their first effort to have been recorded in their home city.
Interpol's new album will be self titled, and will feature ten tracks. One of these is Lights, released as a free download on their official website, and it certainly bodes well for the other nine.
Meanwhile, Interpol tickets are currently on sale for their UK tour beginning this November. The band will play at venues such as Nottingham Rock City, Newcastle O2 Academy, Birmingham O2 Academy, Dublin Olympia Theatre, Manchester Apollo, Liverpool University and London O2 Academy Brixton. Support acts will be announced as the tour approaches.
