Heroic Wales comeback not quite enough to beat France
By Andrew Thomson, on 1st March 2010, 11:17 UTC
After going into half-time 0-20 down, Wales had it all to do in the second half against a French side that has trampled everything in their path so far in this year's RBS Six Nations Championship. An incredible effort in the second half saw them score 20 points of their own, but two French penalties ensured Les Bleus never lost their lead.
Wales will be encouraged from the second period of the match as no team has given France as close a match, and will hope to continue their form against an equally rejuvenated Ireland side in two weeks time.
