Gritty England on course for Grand Slam

England's victory over France moves them ever closer to beoming Six Nations champions for the first time since 2003, a year when England also went on to win the World Cup.

Although the game did not boast the same fireworks of the 59-13 defeat of Italy, when winger Chris Ashton ran riot, the performance of England's forwards was encouraging. With strength and depth to call upon, coach Martin Johnson could be forgiven for dreaming of winning the Six Nations and the World Cup, although there is a long way still to go.

The only try of 'Le Crunch' was scored by Ben Foden, whilst Toby Flood kicked nine points. Johnny Wilkinson came off the bench to add a further two points with his first kick of the game, completing the 17-9 victory over Les Bleus at Twickenham.

Six Nations tickets for the remaining games are available now.
