Gorillaz are a fantastic band, but there are a number of factors that set them aside from everyone else. Most groups can't boast a place in the Guinness Book Of Records, but Gorillaz can as the "Most Successful Virtual Band". This is clearly the primary attribute to mark them from the rest - they are a virtual band. The members are represented by cartoons, and concerts feature heavy use of impressive holograms married with live performance. It works, and really rather well too.
Gorillaz are touring their impressive live show this spring in support of third album Plastic Beach, and tickets go on sale for the April dates at London's Roundhouse this Friday March 26th 2010, with pre-sales already underway! A full list of Gorillaz tour dates is below:
