Singer George Michael has announced his plans to stage a concert in memory of screen-icon Elizabeth Taylor.
The concert will take place on Sunday November 6th at the Royal Opera House in London, and aims to raise money for an AIDS charity. Money from tickets sales will be donated to Elton John's AIDS Foundation's Elizabeth Taylor Memorial Fund. The show will form part of Michael's European tour, which takes in 47 dates and features a symphony orchestra. The singing legend said, "I have seen how HIV can affect people's lives, how it can destroy families and communities. The way that the Elton John AIDS Foundation gets help to the people around the world who need it most - often the most marginalised communities - really spurred my on to do something.
George Michael tickets for his upcoming tour are available now.
