Frankie Boyle tour to kick off April 2010

Dark comic Frankie Boyle starts his 100-date UK tour in March 2010 in Glasgow, the town of his birth. A stand-up comediation since the age of 23, Frankie has more recently been capturing the attention of audiences both live and on television with his pessimistic, troubled and often screamingly funny observations about society, politics and especially life in his home country. A self-confessed alcoholic from the age of 15 to 26, his addiction may have even helped him to get into the minds of some of the more outrageous behaviour exhibited by the public figures who often serve as the butt of his jokes. Described by fellow comedian, presenter Dara O'Briain as "the dark heart of [BBC panel show] Mock the Week", Frankie's twisted take on the trials and tribulations of politicians and celebrities has often drawn as much scorn as hilarity, regularly raising (or possibly lowering) the bar on the limits of taste and decency.

Frankie's turn as regular panellist on Mock the Week now takes a break as he prepares for a massive 100-date tour of the UK that takes in almost every major venue in the country. Tickets to all events have been selling fast, so fans looking to be shocked and entertained in equal proportion will need to secure theirs now, and tickets are available to buy and compare at tixdaq.com.
