Frankie Boyle criticises book publishers

Frankie Boyle has attacked publishers for creating a degraded books market teeming with celebrity memoirs. In an interview with The Guardian, he said: 'Right now if you read the Bookseller there are publishers moaning about how terrible celebrity biographies now are. How they're all badly written and say nothing. It's a fair point, but don't they realise that they're responsible for creating this toxic gene?'

Frankie Boyle is currently preparing for a massive 100-date tour of the UK that takes in almost every major venue in the country.
