Football fans braced for World Cup ticket rush

The next phase of ticket sales for the 2010 FIFA World Cup kicks off on Saturday 5th December the day after the official draw for the tournament takes place in Cape Town.
It will be third window of opportunity for football fans to get the opportunity to be part of the greatest show on Earth and tickets will be allocated on a ballot system rather than on a first-come first-served basis.
This ticketing phase will run for 49 days until the 22nd of January giving ample time for anyone all those planning on going to South Africa ample time to register their interest.
