Fans prepare for V Festival tickets rush

Tickets for this year's V Festival will go on general sale at 9am on Friday.

Eminem and The Arctic Monkeys have been confirmed as headline acts, while Plan B and Rihanna will also perform

The festival will take place at Weston Park, Shifnal and Hylands Park in Chelmsford on the 20th and 21st August.

Also confirmed to appear are The Script, Dizzy Rascal, Pendulum, Kaiser Chiefs, Duran Duran, Manics, Primal Scream, Razorlight, Chase n Status, Tinie Tempah, The Courteeners, Ellie Goulding, Scouting for Girls, Bruno Mars, Jessie J, The Wombats, Mark Ronson, N-Dubz, Glasvegas, Hurts, Katy B, KT Tunstall, Squeeze, The Saturdays, Example, Olly Murs, Cast, Kele, OCS, You Me at Six, Eliza Doolittle, Fun Lovin Criminals and Imelda May.

More acts are expected to be announced in the coming days, with V Festival tickets set to go on general sale this Friday, 4th March.
