Eminem is the most popular artist on Facebook

US artist Eminem has become the most popular music artist on Facebook. The rapper scored over 30 million hits on the social network site, finishing nearly 200,000 followers ahead of Lady GaGa.

Rihanna wasn't far behind with over 26 million followers, while Justin Bieber trailed further with 23 million.

The figure is a huge milestone for Eminem, who had only 2.7 million followers on Facebook a year ago.

Eminem is set to headline this year's V Festival in Chelmsford and Shifnal, with V Festival tickets available to buy online now.
